The Beauty of Letting Go

Everyone has its own heartache in life and sometimes it takes long, long years before we can overcome it but I guess sometimes, we still did not let go of the things or people that we have to set free because we are still holding on to the promise that they will come back to us or maybe the attachment that they brought to us that definitely strikes us back or perhaps, just perhaps because we still did not find the right person that captured our heart to a thing called “ F O R E V E R “… ( mmmm, yes, I do believe in forever!, hahah ! )

Maybe you are now in your mid 20s or early 30s then you started to worry about your future self if you can still manage to find a partner or you can still overcome the heartaches of the past that makes your life miserable or let’s say that makes you afraid of doing something new.

Sometimes letting go is the hardest part of loving someone. As we know, not all loving and sweet couples that we know ended up into tying the knots and growing old with loving children. Some of them, just fed up or simply had misunderstandings and ended up into breaking up.

Love is more than just a romantic thingy that makes your stomach tickled by some butterflies or you get blushed when someone says sweet words to you or just simply about the thing called feelings that almost all people are trying to induced. L O V E is more than that.  Because L O V E is more than how you feel or what you perceive, it is a total commitment to a person and a gift from God which you have to share and devote your life. If she gets sick, then you will be her nurse. If she feels lonely, then you will be her clown. If she feels hungry, then you will be a chef… that is how love and commitment should abide.

What if suddenly, that someone started to get busy and he stops to send sweet messages to you that you used to have or that you lose that butterflies in your stomach or that you started to ask yourself if you still have feelings for that someone? What will you do then? Mainly, you will lose affection because we love others because they loved us but what if you started to feel unloved? Yeah, of course you will let go of that someone and will find new one, isn’t it ironic? Then all your promises will turn into shattered pieces and all those sweet words will be harsh…

So what’s next?

Let go of your heartaches, your burdens and you failures and mistakes and let GOD do the rest. Sometimes, we just have to keep silent in prayer and rest for a while in carrying heavy loads that we are dealing in our daily lives and unload it with God. He always have big plans for you and He makes your path straight as He always see what lies ahead of you and surely that he never fails. 

The art of letting go is letting God take the lead and entrusting Him to take over your life. So today, embrace God’s mighty power and everlasting love. Experience the beauty of letting go of the pain you are feeling right now and enjoy God’s way of writing your own love story which He really wants you to have. Remember, our God is greater than movie director and author of a storybook which you are fond of so be calm and pray for it.

Dear Mr. Future Husband

Dear  Mr. Future Husband,

( To my friend Maean, Biki and Cams and to all single friends out there, this excerpt is for you.. )

How are you today and what keeps you busy lately?

Well, I write to you because I cannot wait to tell you some things that you have to know. I don’t know where on earth are you right now or maybe your one of the neighborhood nearby or a colleague whom I used to pass on, a childhood friend that teased me a lot but all I know is God is preparing a perfect timing for us to meet maybe just like a romantic novels that I used to read or maybe in a fairytale scene that I used to dreamed of or maybe it’s just.. it is just like an ordinary day when the wind blows and the sun rises on the east that I never dreamed that it would be you. I kept on thinking about how you would look like and how you would make me fall in love with you or do we have same interests and hobbies.. . (those are few of my questions and I would ruin this if I would write all of them! =D )

Maybe you will ask, I am not much into looks but I would love if you will be neat. I like God fearing man and his faith would be like Abraham and His body should be as strong as Samson and he can be wise just like Solomon and can sing and play musical instruments like David, that’s not too much to ask I think. I don’t need much of your riches that I would sleep in a bed of gold and would step into diamonds but just a simple life because I am already the daughter of the King and I will be blessed for the rest of my life with goodness and mercy.

I prefer sunrise than sunset because I have a big hope for everything. I like to eat ice cream when I am feeling cold and chicken soup during hot summer days ( see, how weird I am! ) Someday, I would like to travel with you by air or by boat or even by land to Santorini and Maldives- those two were perfect place for me to relax in a month or two.

When I am sad, please fried some hotdogs for me and roll it into bread with so much cheese on tops. When I am depressed with my work, just a hug and a prayer together will wash it away. Sometimes, if I get lonely because I missed my family so much, please invite them in our house and let’s have dinner date together, remember that I love them so much. Please allow me to meet my friends even once a week because I have so many girly things that I want to share with them and would love to talk about the new trends. Do share your secrets with me and I will listen to it and would love to keep it as you wish. Sometimes at night I cannot sleep, would you mind to stroke my back and sing a worship song for me? It would be a long night sleep, indeed!

During weekends, can we invite the children in the neighborhood and share love candies to them or can we ride a bicycle to smell the breeze of spring or even just have a night practice with the music ministry in the church and every Sunday we have to go to church and thanks God for the wonderful life He gave us!? ( it would be a well spent weekend then !)

Ohh, before I forgot, I love action movies and I got fascinated with their moves and it shoots up my adrenaline. I prefer drinking tea than coffee and orange juice at noontime will do. In the future, I would love to play a song in piano and you sing while playing your guitar. I love eating all kinds of vegetables so you would not feel tired of feeding me and I eat less rice so you would not be burdened to buy some all the time, haha!

Lastly, do not cheat on me, it is like cheating on yourself as we have made a promise and vow that we will be united as one in Christ Jesus the Lord, our Savior.

I would be a woman of courage and will love you though others may fail. I will always treasure you for the rest of our life and will pray for you everyday.

Yeah, I believe in God’s perfect timing and that He is the author of my love story; much more than we can fathom and comprehend the depth of His love. I know that he is just shaping up my future, molding me and my future husband so that in the near future when we will meet, we will be ready and be able to embrace God’s purpose in our lives. I may not meet you or knew you right now but I am praying for you today and will pray for you every day of my life. I am so much excited to meet you and it would be a brand new day for me.

When I think of sunset, there's always a picture of fear in me..a fear of the darkness awaiting and fear of closing the door of a new hope. But in midst of that I feel thankful and there's overflowing gladness in my heart that the day is over, perhaps a bad day at school or a fight between me and my siblings.

This painting of sunset in autumn is the first painting that I gave to my friend Dawn on her birthday since she appreciated painting much more than me. It was made of canvas and acrylic paints. It's a mix of bright colors blended with black. I used flat brushes and different strokes front and back and making it round and round ( I still have many things to learn though! :-D )

This painting shows my loneliness yet hopeful emotions to something that I really adore but had not achieve. It aspires me that a new beginning awaits once sun sets on the west and would live life as beautiful as it is...

Top Places I visited in Bangkok

Dear Bangkok, 

Bangkok is one of the top places that I would like to visit in Asia considering the historical beauty of its culture and traditions. When I heard that it is not much expensive to visit the place, I rushed into Bangkok as my weekend getaway and discover the place on my own.

It took around three hours from Philippines to Bangkok and thanks a lot to Thai Airways for accomodating my needs during the travel.

Yohoo!I finally have my first touchdown in Suvanabhumi Airport, Bangkok and I can't really wait to start to explore even in short span of time.

Okay, I stayed in Novotel since it is very near in the airport and I find the staff there very accomodating and kind.

I rode a taxi from the hotel to the heart of the city and my first destination is the Grand Palace.

Wat Phra Kaew or The Temple of the Emerald Buddha is very majestic and the detailed architecture amazes me a lot. It is considered as the center of spiritual faith of Thai people and the most famous temple.

It is one of the biggest and famous mall in Bangkok and you can shop all around from girl stuffs to small token from your trip.

Life Story Begins...

Barbie Young 

Well, this is Chin, or some people call me Barbie, a total newbie on this space. I am a geek artist who loves to explore the world and keeping awesome memories on my tinker box.

 People think that I am half crazy, wild free and there's tiny bits of childish in me ( well, now I think they're right! - ha!ha!ha! ). I love going on trips and running off to watch classic musicals and that's what made me into a frustrated piano genie but  a part of me would love to play guitar as well.

 Aside from that, I love to paint different things out of nowhere and that is one of my favorite hobby. I used to sing when I'm lonely and write poems from within.I believe that every creature is a unique gift from God and that every little creature deserves to be loved.

  Lastly, I am a Christian by faith and totally in love with Jesus Christ and I want to follow His way by His grace and mercy. I hope we can get along together and my blog will be an inspiration to live. God bless! =)

home remedies to whiten the teeth

Many people are so conscious on how they look like, most especially teenagers.
They want to look beautiful and catch people's heart with their pearly white teeth.
But it's been a big problem because everyday, we are consuming colored foods that makes our teeth
formed some discoloration.

So, I come up with this simple recipes that will help you in obtaining a pearly white teeth.
It's very easy and you can do it well at home and no need to go to the dentist to have an
expensive whitening treatment that will not also lasts long.

1. BaLe Recipe ( Baking Soda and Lemon )

Baking soda is known for its cleansing agent and even in old times, people are using it
to whiten the teeth. Have a few drops of lemon and mix it up with a teaspoon of baking soda until
it formed like a paste. Dip your toothbrush into the mixture and start brushing your teeth.
There, you can have a lemon flavored whitening paste for your teeth for atleast once or twice a week.

2. StrawBa Recipe ( Strawberry and Baking Soda )

Strawberry contains malic acid which helps in cleansing and removing stains caused by
coffee, colas and some other colored drinks. Have a piece of strawberry fruit and cut it into half.
Mashed it or you can put into blender together with one tablespoon of baking soda.
Use a toothbrush to mix the ingredients well and spread it onto your teeth and stay it for five minutes.
Brush your teeth using your regular toothpaste to remove some particles and some floss too.
Have a strawberry-flavored toothpaste. You can use it atleast once a week.

3. Orange Peel

Peel an orange fruit and set it aside.You can have it dried and make a paste out of it or you can apply it directly.
You can use the inside peel to whiten the teeth.Start to rub it off into your teeth and stay it for five minutes.
Use it twice a week to have a greater effect.

4. BaSaVi Recipe ( Baking Soda, Salt and Vinegar )

Have a tablespoon of baking soda and mix it up with a dash of salt.Pour a little vinegar until it forms a foam.
Then brush your teeth using this mixture and let it stay for five minutes. Then, you can brush your teeth using your regular toothpaste.
Although it has a bad taste but you can see the effects right after rinsing it.

5. BaHy Recipe ( Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide )

Hydrogen peroxide is a good and safe ingredient for mouthwash or in whitening teeth.
But be careful, not to swallow it that can cause irritation to your stomach.
Have a two tablespoon of baking soda and pour three tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide in a plate.
Mix it together until it formed like a paste. Dip your toothbrush onto it and start brushing
your teeth upside down. You can also use a cotton ball and dip into the mixture and start
rubbing it into your teeth. Stay it for five minutes or ten and rinse it.

6. Aloe vera

Use aloe vera sap to rub onto your teeth everyday. Then, brush your teeth using a regular toothpaste and rinse.
This will helps to whiten your teeth in a week or two.







7. MusOlSa Recipe ( Mustard or Olive Oil and Salt )

Have a dash tablespoon of rock salt then pour a little amount of mustard or olive oil
and mix it up together. Start brushing it onto your teeth or you can simply rub it using cotton ball.
Then let it stay for five minutes and rinse.

8. AshOl Recipe ( Wood Ash and Olive Oil )

Wood ash contains pottasium hydroxide or lye which helps to whiten the teeth.
Try to get an ash in the fireplace but be sure to have a hard wood ash nt the soft one.
Put a small amount of olive oil until it will form like a paste. Then start rubbing it onto your
teeth. Rinse well. You can see that your teeth shines and started to become white.


These recipes are intended to help everyone in whitening the teeth but be sure that you follow
instructions to attain a pealy white teeth. Brush your teeth everyday and consult your dentist
atleast twice a year. Have a pearly white smile.Be healthy!
